I donated my earnings from Newsvine to the American Red Cross. I hope that everyone will find it in their hearts to send whatever they can to help them in their efforts to help those in need and those in Haiti! Haiti has been forgotten by the international community.

Watching and reading some of the comments here on Newsvine have made me extremely aware of the problems this country still has with the issue of race. At any little mention of something with racial or ethnic undertones, we fly on the defensive.
